About me?, thank you for asking. I like to say I am a retired Chef. I did it for 15 years and was not very successful at it looking back. Not because I can’t cook, on the contrary I’m pretty good. I was a good employee and spent most of my career as a Sous-Chef. I learned something about myself the few times someone promoted me to Exec though. I was a horrible manager of people and products. I hated paperwork and inventory, not to mention dealing with the transient, sometimes not so motivated population that works in restaurants. Yes there are plenty of hardworking, successful, self motivated etc etc….but every coin has two sides so I am not including everyone. If it weren’t for my own stupidity, greed, decisions, hereditary and diet induced physical challenges Id probably still be cooking somewhere. I really enjoy it.
